As far as I’m concerned, I do not agree with the view that competition and cooperation are always in conflict with each other. In my opinion, while advocating competition. We should never forget cooperation. In our social life, cooperation is especially necessary because most work is fulfilled with or through other people. So Ive come to the conclusion that competition are equally important.

我们认为，可以将学生参加四级考试的成绩作为一个衡量的一个尺度，四级考试的目的在于考核已修完大学英语四级的学生是否达到教学大纲所确定的各项目标。换言之，学生的四级考试中所得的成绩，应成为学生在校是否能进行医学英语学习一种度量，一般学一年左右，英语专业的学生基本上都能过英语四级的，过八级有点困难。如果达不到四级标准，即使在校期间学会几篇医学文章，效果甚微。当然这并不是意味着我们不可以根据自己学校的实际状态灵活地掌握这个尺度。过了英语四级的学生，他们掌握了一定的词汇量，再学习医学方面的文章会得心应手，也增强了学习兴趣。将英语专业的英语教学与医学英语教学切机地结合起来，带同学们到医院去实习。我们通过几年的摸索和观察发现，用英语书写病历：会诊时，手术中，查房时用英语进行对话。对于保守医密，对病人采取保护性治疗以及接待外籍患者等都是非常实用的。例如：对于某些癌症患者的病因用外文书写也能对病人起到保护性的作用（对于那些不懂英语的患者）。现在医院接待外籍患者机会增多，需要用外语询问病情与病人交谈，对于诊断和治疗都用到。而且，学生看到自己学有所用，多一次将来就业的机会，使学习医学英语兴趣倍增。

Some hold the positive view and others think differently. In my view, I believe they’d better not get married for the following reasons.

First and foremost, though mostly adults, college students are actually immature psychologically. Their wishes to get married are, more often than not , impulses. I admit that it is a basic right for those who have reached the appropriate ages to get married marriage is more solemn and requires more than just reaching the age.

In addition, the university or college is a place to study instead of a community to lead a family life. Allowing college students to get married would adversely affect their study. For instance, they would spend too much time attending to their family and love, thus unable to concentrate on their school work. Besides, as tudents, they are not ready to support a family nancially.

Weighing the arguments of both sides, I would still say “no” to getting married in college, though it’s their legal right.
